Health Protocols

Rearranging the office settings and limiting the number of patients in the waiting room at the same time; as part of physical distancing.

Temperatures and oxygen level saturation will be taken for every patient and each companion. Plus, a Covid-19 exposure screening questions.
Appropriate use of protective equipment for doctors such as barrier gowns, gloves, masks, and eyewear for the healthcare team.
Personal protective equipment for healthcare team and for patients which includes disposable shoes and masks, protective glasses and even a disposable cap.
The patient handwashing and use of pre-treatment mouthwash for 30 seconds in order to decrease the viral load.

Four-handed dentistry, high evacuation suction and rubber dams to minimize droplet splatter and aerosol generation.
Shark’s Isobox completely traps splatters and cleans the contaminated aerosols by a vacuum suction passing through a HEPA filter making it safe for everyone present inside the clinic.
A commercial-grade, portable HEPA extraoral suction system with UV-C germicidal lamps. This tube sucks away air from near the patient’s head and sends it through a HEPA filter to capture dental aerosol and splatter produced by scalers and drills.
Disinfect surfaces of treatment rooms frequently and in between patients to maintain a dry environment and frequent cleaning of high-touch common areas.
Sterilization Area uses an autoclave chamber which sterilizes dental instruments by heating them above boiling point.
Clinic Air is drawn into the Rhodes UV-C Air Sterilizers and exposes it to a powerful 180 watts UVC germicidal lamps. The “cleaned” air is circulated continually – resulting in constant, fresh, and sterilized air within the clinic premises.
Several medical grade HEPA air purifiers have been added to our clinical area.
Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation is a sterilization method to destroy airborne bacteria and viruses on air and surfaces. It can be used on disinfecting reusable personal protective equipment.
